Tattoo Removal Has Never Been Easier
No longer will patients need to consider skin-damaging treatments such as acid removal, excision, and dermabrasion. Today’s aesthetic lasers offer a proven alternative for safer and more effective ink removal. Revive uses the Medlite 6 Laser for tattoo removal, which is the latest technology in lasers, the industry gold standard and the most advanced laser treatment for safe and effective removal of tattoos, targeting unwanted ink more efficiently than any other treatment.
MedLite C6, features four wavelengths to target a wide range of colors, even difficult-to-treat green and sky blue. As the tattoo is treated, laser energy gently vibrates and shatters the tattoo ink into easily eliminated microparticles. Over time, the tattoo particles will gradually fade through the lymphatic system and the skin will return to its natural color. 5-15 treatments are typically necessary to achieve tattoo clearance.

It takes four weeks for the body to begin breaking down the ink and even though the tattoo may appear healed, it is not. The laser breaks the ink down into smaller particles so it can be absorbed and cleared away by the body’s own immune system. This process takes 4-6 weeks so getting treated sooner than that will not make the tattoo removal any quicker and can also put you at risk for scarring.
One of the first three treatments will lighten the tattoo. Some people will see this after one treatment and for others it may take longer. Everyone responds differently.
This procedure is slightly more uncomfortable than getting a tattoo, however it is very fast. Most treatments take between 25-60 seconds.
